  • The CTCAC March 20, 2019 Meeting Agenda has been posted!
  • In order to better serve you, the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) has begun to post lists of applications received, including each applicant’s preliminary self-score. The application period for the Supportive Housing – Multifamily Housing Program funding closed on February 8, 2019. HCD received a total of 20 applications requesting approximately $141.7 million in funding under the $155 million Notice of Funding Availability. You can now view the list of 2018 Supportive Housing Multifamily Housing Program applications received (includes the amounts requested and applicant identified self-scores). Please note: The project information listed is “as applied” in the application and has not been verified by HCD staff. Applications are currently under review by HCD, and awards are estimated to be announced in July 2019.
  • SB 1581 has been introduced in the NV Legislature and could have dramatic effect on our industry. SB151 would: Increase the pay or quit timeline from 5 full days to 10 judicial days; Increase the period of time in which the constable has to remove a tenant in default of rent from within 24 hours of the court order to no earlier than 48 hours; Increase the amount of time a person has after receiving a written notice to surrender when the person holds over and continues possession of real property or a mobile home that has been sold or foreclosed upon from 3 days to 30 days; and, Change the method of service of the notices to the Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure or the Justice Court Rules of Civil procedure, as applicable.
