ExpiredMember Meeting: Rent Control and the Effects

Did you know that a subcommittee to the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors is expected to recommend rent control before the end of summer.  The City of Los Angeles as well as other cities throughout the state are taking a very pro-active approach towards implementing Rent Control.  If you want to get more information on this and how it will impact your property sign up today for the AHMA-PSW Membership Meeting on July 11th at 1:00 p.m. at the LAX Marriott.

Tommy Thompson, who is the Senior Vice President for the California Apartment Association, who will talk about the items stated above as well how the CAA is taking action through the CAA-led Coalition for Responsible Housing which has the “Stop the Housing Freeze” campaign.

Come to the meeting and find out how you can get involved in preserving the Costa-Hawkins Act and help preserve affordable housing in California.
