Affordable Housing Means More Invested in Communities
Providing affordable housing in Southern California, Arizona and Nevada is only part of the solution. AHMA-PSW believes investing in the community is critical to helping communities thrive. Our Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit subsidiary of AHMA-PSW with the mission to improve the quality of life for people living in member communities.
This is done through educational programs and community activities for families, their children, and the elderly. These programs aren’t just about just giving back, it’s also about setting our communities up for continued growth and success.
We also offer scholarship incentives within our Affordable Housing Management Association Pacific Southwest (AHMA-PSW) Foundation. With emphasis on educational programs and incentives, the Dan Grady Memorial Scholarship Program has awarded $622,000 in academic and vocational scholarships to AHMA-PSW housing residents for over 30 years, and we’re pleased to see that number continue to grow every year.

Ways to Give
Giving to the AHMA-PSW Foundation is one of the most rewarding donations a person can make. We receive funding from a variety of sources, including federal grants, member dues and applications, and donations from individuals and corporations alike. We welcome any donation, no matter the amount. Some organizations or individuals even choose to volunteer time instead of their money, helping with various projects and community events.
