The California Legislature has passed and Gov Newsome has signed SB 1157.  This bill requires Landlords of subsidized housing to offer Residents the option of having their rental payments reported to a major credit bureau.  This bill takes effect January 1, 2021 with reporting to begin by June 1, 2021.  Sarah Chenven and Talia Kahn Kravis from Credit Builders Alliance will offer a presentation on the current landscape of full-file rent reporting, some key requirements of the bill, and offer tips for implementation.
