This member meeting will be presented by Ron Kingston, AHMA-PSW’s new advocate who will be giving our members up to the minute information straight from Sacramento.

Speaker:  Ron Kingston

Ron Kingston is a highly respected and very knowledgeable California lobbyist with thirty years of experience. His expertise includes banking, real estate finance and insurance, local government,natural resources and water, revenue and taxation, housing, environmental quality, and real estate issues, policy, and law. His broad knowledge of issues and his solid working relationships with persons in key positions allow him to offer sophisticated policy intelligence and strategic analysis that is both applicable and accurate. He has written dozens of bills and has an enactment success rate of 94 percent.

A long-time resident of Northern California, Ron earned his academic degrees from the University of California at Davis. He is President of the California Political Consulting Group (CalPCG) and, in this capacity, has been retained by national bond companies, statewide common-interest development financial planning corporations, and trade associations representing national and state homeowners’ associations, real estate developers, real estate associations, and regional apartment associations.

Before becoming President of CalPCG and a lobbyist for the largest trade association in the nation, Ron was a committee consultant with the California State Legislature. He has served on numerous state committees and task forces and has been an invited speaker at many local, regional, and state meetings and public hearings.
