With the CARES Act moratorium on non-pay evictions and non-renewal notices expiring, this class will guide you on the necessary steps to ensure that you are in compliance with both the federal law as well as Governor Ducey’s Executive Order 2020-14 as you process the files for residents that have failed to pay rent or otherwise comply with program requirements.  Additionally, while we were sidetracked by the events surrounding the virus, HUD issued a very insightful memo updating guidance on how landlords should address requests for assistive animals in housing.  We will dive into that memorandum and decipher what is the law, what is fiction and what is a good business practice.
