  • CA Treasurer John Chiang issued a press release regarding the joint CTCAC/CDLAC application process which is intended to streamline the process of using tax exempt bonds and 4% tax credits for development.  For the press release click Here

  • CTCAC has released the updated CA Utility Allowance Calculator (CUAC).  Click Here for more info
  • The IRS has published a revised Form 8609.  The new form now contains the income averaging option.  To view the new form click here.
  • CTCAC has issued guidance memos for parties planning to submit an application for the 2018 competitive round.   The links are 2018 Second Round Guidance and 2018 Guidance for First Round Applicants Re-Applying in Second Round.   • HUD has released designations for Annual Base City High Cost Percentages and High Cost Areas for maximum mortgage amounts for the FHA Multifamily Housing Programs. In addition, the Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP) Guide adjusted the base amount per unit to define substantial rehabilitation for FHA insured loan programs.
