AHMA-PSW’s Affordable Housing News 12/20/18


  • California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) announces the release of an updated Supplemental Application (Rev. 12/13/18) for the 2018 Supportive Housing – Multifamily Housing Program (SHMHP) Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) application forms. The revised SHMHP Supplemental Application now includes an additional section to the Supportive Service Plan worksheet. All applicants must use the 12/13/18 version of the supplemental application. Applications are due February 8, 2018.
  • ADOH has announced that Governor Ducey approved the 2019 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) on December 11, 2018 and has been posted on the ADOH website.  You may download the Information Bulletin for additional information.
  • NAHMA has issued a Grassroots Advocacy Alert. We are once again facing a government shutdown due to the inability of Congress and the President to agree on funding priorities. In the past such government shutdowns have created insecurity to those we serve, as well as to the timeliness of our funding and other government activities that affect our industry. For help in advocating our concerns to your Congresspeople NAHMA has created handouts and other tools. The Advocacy alert can be accessed at https://www.nahma.org/grassroots-advocacy/urgent-issues/.
  • The NV Housing Division has posted the Income Averaging Draft and QAP Drafts at  https://housing.nv.gov/programs/LIH/Qualified_Allocation_Plans/.
