Kimball, Tirey & St. John’s fair housing training is a course, covering federal, California, and fair housing laws. Learn about disability and it’s definition, the process of handling requests such as assistance animals and parking, along with hoarding and mental disabilities. Take this opportunity to fully understand fair housing in the life cycle of a tenancy, from the marketing and leasing process, to resident selection, establishing rental  criteria and community policies, termination of tenancy and many other day-to-day applications of fair housing in California.

The following issues will also be reviewed:

  • The origins of fair housing laws
  • the federal, state, and local protected classes
  • The enforcement of fair housing laws

***Important Webinar Information***

Webinar Requirements: Each participant must have their own individual email address to be registered and receive their unique link to access the webinar. Participants cannot share an email address. Each participant must have access to an internet connection via their own computer, smart phone, tablet, etc. to login and attend the webinar. Participants cannot attend the webinar via a landline. Participants cannot share devices when attending this webinar. For example, two participants cannot view the webinar from one computer, and both receive credit as our report will only reflect that one person logged into the webinar.

Fair Housing certificates: To qualify for a certificate, participants must log in with their unique link and attend the webinar in its entirety. Attendance will be monitored by KTS’s online system and verified with the use of a report upon completion of the webinar. Participants who do not attend the full webinar will not receive a certificate.

 

Meeting Link Details

The meeting link and details will be sent out to registrants in a separate email, no later than 48 hours prior to the training date and a reminder will be emailed an hour before the training course. Please be sure to check your junk mail for any emails from training@ahma-psw.org.

 

Registration Payment & Cancellation Policy

Payment Policy: Payment for course registration is due prior to the scheduled class date. If a registrant is registered within 3 business days of the scheduled training, payment is required to be made via credit card. Send an email to training@ahma-psw.org or call the office at 1.866.698.2462 to make payment by credit card.

Cancellation Policy: For a full refund, cancellation needs to be completed 7 days prior to the scheduled training date by via email to training@ahma-psw.orgYou will be charged full registration if cancellation is not done within that stated period.
