This course is an overview of the process of property management, regardless of the type or number of subsidies-or none at all. Property Management involves a lot more than certifications and determining eligibility. We are responsible for the financial health of a large asset, and the well-being of those who live there. This course is designed as a full overview the life of a tenancy from marketing to the Residents we want, through the move out. Topic include:

  • Marketing
  • Applications and Waiting Lists
  • Screening
  • Interviewing and Eligibility
  • Staff Relations
  • Budget Basic
  • On Going Tenant Issues
  • Move outs and Special Claims

Speaker: Kurt Aldinger

Kurt has been with the Flagstaff Housing Authority for over 20 years, in a variety of programs. He currently oversees staff in the Public Housing and Multi Family programs. He is also currently the Vice President of Training for AHMA-PSW; and trains for AZ NAHRO.
