The Affordable Housing Management Association, Pacific Southwest (AHMA-PSW) Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. It is a subsidiary corporation of the parent trade association (AHMA-PSW). The mission of the Foundation is to improve the quality of life of individuals living in member communities.
Because of the social needs of the clients we serve, the members of AHMA-PSW believe that we have a moral duty to go above and beyond the duties of what is normally associated with a trade association. As a result, the AHMA-PSW Foundation was formed in 1994 and sponsors a variety of activities for children, families, seniors and persons with disabilities. With a strong focus on educational and enrichment programs, the AHMA-PSW Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the opportunities for residents in our communities to realize their full potential for success.
Current activities for residents of AHMA-PSW member properties under the auspices of the Foundation include the following:
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
This program awards academic and vocational scholarships to deserving residents who wish to continue their education. Since its inception 27 years ago, the Dan Grady Memorial Scholarship Program has awarded over $500,500 in scholarships to low income residents and at-risk youth.

"AHMA DRUG-FREE KID" POSTER CALENDAR CONTEST
Part of a national competition, this activity encourages young people from kindergarten through high school to participate in a poster competition that promotes an anti-drug and positive self-image theme. Twelve regional winners are selected to go on to the national competition and are honored at a special ceremony. The national winning posters are made into an award-winning calendar and are distributed by NAHMA.
